Exchange Policy
1. No Returns for Change of Mind
Given the nature of our products, many of which are opened, used, or low-cost consumable stationery and art supplies, InkPop does not accept returns simply because you changed your mind, no longer want an item, or expected it to look different in person. Please review product photos, descriptions, and dimensions carefully before ordering, or visit us in store at Hiranandani Estate to see items in person.
2. What Is Eligible for Exchange
You may request an exchange only in the following situations:
- Manufacturing defect — the product is faulty, broken, or does not function as intended through no fault of use or handling by you.
- Transit damage — the product arrived damaged, or the package was visibly tampered with on delivery.
- Wrong item shipped — you received a different product, variant, or quantity than what you ordered.
- Missing item — a product from your order was missing from the package at delivery or pickup.
This is consistent with your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019: where goods delivered are defective, deficient, or do not match what was advertised or promised, you are entitled to a remedy regardless of any policy we set, and nothing in this page limits those statutory rights.
3. Reporting Window & Evidence
Please report any of the issues above within 48 hours of delivery or store pickup, by contacting us through the channels in Section 4. To help us process your request quickly, please share:
- Your order number.
- Clear photos (and, where possible, a short video) of the product and its packaging showing the issue.
- For transit damage, please retain the original packaging until your exchange request is resolved.
We recommend recording a brief unboxing video for higher-value or fragile items (for example, art kits, canvas sets, or glass items), as this makes it easier for us to approve an exchange quickly.
4. How to Request an Exchange

5. Exchange Process & Timelines
Once you raise a request, we will review the evidence you share and confirm within 2 business days whether it qualifies for an exchange. If approved:
- For shipped orders, we will arrange a reverse pickup of the item, or ask you to ship it back, at no cost to you.
- For store-pickup orders, you can bring the item back to the Hiranandani Estate store.
- Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will dispatch a replacement of the same product (or the closest available substitute, with your consent) within 5–7 business days.
6. When a Refund Applies Instead
If an approved exchange cannot be fulfilled because the product is out of stock and no suitable substitute is available, we will process a full refund to your original payment method within 7–10 business days instead. This is the only circumstance in which a refund is issued in place of an exchange.
7. Items Not Eligible for Exchange
The following are not eligible for exchange, except where a manufacturing defect is evident and reported within the window in Section 3:
- Opened or used consumable art materials, such as paints, inks, adhesives, clay, and similar items, once the seal or packaging has been broken.
- Items explicitly marked "final sale" or "not eligible for exchange" on the product page at the time of purchase.
- Damage caused by misuse, normal wear and tear, or improper storage after delivery.
8. Order Cancellations
You can cancel an order free of charge any time before it has been packed for dispatch or marked ready for pickup; any amount paid will be refunded in full within 7–10 business days. Once an order has been packed, shipped, or marked ready for pickup, it can no longer be cancelled online, though the exchange process above remains available if the delivered item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
9. Non-Delivery or Lost Shipments
If tracking shows your order as delivered but you did not receive it, or a shipment appears lost in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of the delivery date shown so we can investigate with our courier partner and arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
